| BayHap |   |
| Useful tool to analyze haplotypic association |   |
This software estimates haplotypic frequencies from an input sample of genotypes, even with uncertainty, and it also analyzes the association between haplotypes and a response variable of binary, quantitative or survival type. The theoretical issues in which BayHap is based on, belong to the frame of Bayesian statistics and MCMC techniques. Given a sample of SNPs for a set of individuals, BayHap produces the following output: - Estimated frequencies for each possible haplotype in the genotype sample.
- Standard errors for haplotypic frequencies.
- Estimated OR or HRR for each haplotype.
- Credibility intervals for each risk measure.
BayHap is being developed to run as a web tool (within SNPStats) and also as a package inside the R environment. Contact: Raquel Iniesta: .
