Description: The HiPerDART project aims to develop, using a novel printing technology called Supramolecular NanoStamping (SuNS), a higher standard of clinical microarray technology that promises to dramatically improve the reliability of medical tests. This technology will be tested in a clinical application to provide a prognostic and predictive tool based on a comprehensive set of genomic markers selected using state of the art bioinformatics techniques. Patients diagnosed with stage II colorectal cancer could benefit from a molecular staging prognostic tool to indicate the need of adjuvant chemotherapy.
