Description: The World Health Organization says that exposure to environmental tobacco smoke (HT), also called secondhand smoke is carcinogenic to humans and an important risk factor for cardiovascular disease, respiratory and d another and that there is no safe level of exposure. Despite what constitutes a serious public health problem, there have been few studies to assess exposure levels among the Portuguese population.
Objectives: 1. To reduce the total exposure to tobacco smoke, particularly children, pregnant women and young people by promoting environments 100% smoke-free. 2. To prevent young people from starting to smoke.3. To contribute to society's acceptance of a new social norm, support "in 100% smoke-free environments" - requires.
